Request an Executive ConsultationAbout the Firm
Seven Cedars LLC is a boutique advisory and execution firm specializing in AI governance, regulatory compliance architecture, and secure cloud modernization. Founded in 2022, we partner with leadership teams navigating the intersection of AI adoption and regulatory scrutiny — designing governance frameworks and building the architecture to make them work.
Our approach integrates strategic oversight with hands-on program leadership and technical architecture to ensure modernization initiatives are not only well designed, but successfully delivered. We operate at the intersection of policy, technology, and execution — translating regulatory expectations into operational reality.
Unlike large consulting firms that hand off slide decks, Seven Cedars stays through implementation. Our principals lead every engagement directly, bringing Fortune 100 institutional experience with boutique-firm accountability.
Core Capabilities
Designing and implementing AI governance frameworks, model inventories, and validation processes aligned with SR 11-7, the EU AI Act, and emerging US regulatory guidance. We help organizations move from ad hoc AI usage to governed, auditable, enterprise-grade AI operations.
Building governance layers and audit-ready controls around the data pipelines that feed AI-driven regulatory reporting — so your data is traceable, validated, and examiner-ready. This includes data lineage, quality scorecards, and control ownership frameworks.
Hands-on design and implementation leadership for cloud-native architectures that meet the security, resilience, and compliance requirements of financial services, healthcare, and government environments. Includes Zero Trust architecture, identity-centric security design, and multi-cloud governance.
Gap assessments and compliance roadmaps for organizations subject to the EU AI Act, state AI laws, and evolving SEC, CFPB, and prudential regulator guidance on AI systems. We translate regulatory ambiguity into concrete implementation plans.
Executive-level program governance for large-scale modernization initiatives — ensuring strategy, architecture, and delivery remain aligned from kickoff through institutionalization. Includes PMO design, governance reporting, and cross-workstream coordination.
Industries We Serve
Supporting federal agencies and defense organizations with AI governance frameworks, secure cloud modernization, and compliance architecture aligned with FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST, and emerging federal AI mandates.
Governance and implementation leadership for banks, insurers, and fintechs navigating AI adoption under OCC, Fed, SEC, and CFPB scrutiny — including model risk management, regulatory reporting, and consent order remediation.
AI governance and secure cloud architecture for healthcare organizations managing HIPAA compliance, clinical AI oversight, and data interoperability requirements across complex provider and payer ecosystems.
Regulatory compliance architecture for insurers adopting AI-driven underwriting and claims processes, and for fintechs scaling into regulated product categories requiring governance infrastructure.
Leadership
Our regulatory and governance principal brings nearly a decade of enterprise transformation and program leadership experience within Fortune 100 financial institutions, including senior vice president roles at Citi and operations leadership at Goldman Sachs.
At Citi, she led enterprise PMO governance for multi-workstream data quality and technology initiatives directly tied to regulatory reporting and compliance controls — including programs addressing regulatory consent order requirements. Her background spans compliance risk management, operating model design, process reengineering, and executive governance reporting across complex, matrixed environments.
She holds a PMP certification and an MSc in Engineering Business Management with Distinction from the University of Warwick. She translates regulatory expectations into executable programs — and ensures they get delivered.
Our architecture and security principal is a senior cloud solutions architect with deep expertise across enterprise cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and infrastructure modernization. He holds the CISSP, CCSP, and AWS Solutions Architect Professional certifications, and brings one of the industry's most distinguished cloud architecture credentials.
His experience spans the design and implementation of secure, scalable cloud architectures for large enterprises — including Zero Trust security models, identity and access management frameworks, and multi-cloud governance structures. He provides the technical depth that ensures our governance and compliance frameworks are architecturally sound and operationally viable.
